Prince William would reportedly not meet with Prince Harry during the latter’s UK visit. Harry will seemingly attend the Invictus Games in Birmingham for a week in July. While the Duke of Sussex might want to meet his royal family, an expert allegedly claimed that the Prince of Wales won’t let Kate Middleton go near his brother.
Prince William will draw boundaries when Prince Harry is in the UK, warns expert
Prince William and Prince Harry’s estranged relationship might not change anytime soon. Royal expert Angela Levin addressed the heir to the throne’s reaction to his brother’s upcoming visit to the UK. She told TalkTV presenter Mark Dolan on the show (via The Express) that the father of three would allegedly not appreciate Harry and his family staying at the royal palace.
“I think William will be horrified and furious,” she claimed. Adding to that, the royal biographer said, “He won’t go anywhere near him, I believe, and he won’t let Catherine (Middleton) go anywhere near him.”
Meanwhile, several reports mentioned that Harry might bring his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children to his homeland in July. The family of four is said to grace the Invictus Games in Birmingham. Reportedly, he wanted to let his kids, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, meet their grandfather, King Charles. While the monarch could allegedly be welcoming, it’s a different story with William and Middleton.
The Wales couple would reportedly not wish to meet the Sussexes at any public event. The Mirror had earlier reported that the future king and queen’s “position has not changed” about meeting Harry and Markle. “And they would not make arrangements to see them outside of them, potentially attending an official public engagement,” a source claimed.
However, a report by Closer suggested that the Princess of Wales might help bridge the gap between the two brothers. “She feels William is pushing Harry too far now,” an insider claimed.
