Sources close to the “Seven” actor, however, claim there is more to the story. He reportedly feels excluded from major moments in his children’s lives. What’s more, he allegedly seems to believe the latest controversy has unfairly cast him in a negative light.

Brad Pitt is reportedly pushing back after claims surfaced that he did not attend Zahara Jolie’s graduation. According to RadarOnline, sources familiar with the 62-year-old allege the story, as it has been framed, has left him “furious.”
The report claims that Pitt believes he was not properly informed about Zahara’s graduation from Spelman College. As a result, he was then allegedly blamed for not being there. “Brad is upset — he says he was shut out and not even told when it was happening,” a source claimed.
The insider alleged that Pitt sees this as part of a wider pattern in his relationship with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. As per the same source, Pitt reportedly believes Angelina has continued what he sees as a “campaign of alienation.”
In his view, the insider claimed, he is repeatedly placed in a no-win situation — absent if he stays away, disruptive if he shows up uninvited. “Angelina’s response is to paint him as the villain for not reaching out,” the source alleged. “She says he should have been aware that this is her graduation year and made an effort to show up for her.”
Furthermore, Pitt is also said to be upset by the claims that he did not send Zahara a present or a message of congratulations. A source told the outlet that he feels “no matter what he does, it’s twisted against him.” The insider claimed that Pitt has “tried reaching out” and “tried staying respectful.” However, he allegedly feels that every effort is “filtered through Angelina’s narrative.”
Angelina, meanwhile, was reportedly at the graduation, along with several of Zahara’s siblings. Their presence appears to have showcased just how emotionally charged the moment was for the family. Still, what should have been a celebratory day has now, at least according to the report, become another flashpoint in the former couple’s long-running conflict.
