Page Six was the first to exclusively reveal that Swift and Kelce will exchange vows on July 3 in New York City. Initially, sources claimed that the couple planned to wed at the singer’s lavish home in the Big Apple. However, in a follow-up report, the outlet stated that the high-profile couple had chosen the iconic Madison Square Garden as their preferred wedding venue.
One source shared: “Everyone’s been sworn to secrecy.” The pair reportedly zeroed in on the venue to accommodate their star-studded guest list. Not only that, but they also intend to take complete advantage of the venue’s tight security.
As per She Knows, the pair has spent $20 million on all security measures for the multiple wedding events. According to The New York Times, the soon-to-be-married couple has planned an intimate gathering on July 2 with 100 guests. A bigger event will take place on July 3, which will involve 1,000 guests. The nature of the events is unknown. Notably, there are speculations that Swift and Kelce will wed someplace away from the prying eyes of the media.
TMZ reported that the pair have allegedly filed a permit request to close streets around Madison Square Garden from July 2 to 4.
