Donald Trump Shares ‘Great’ AI ‘Painting’ of Himself

Donald Trump shared a seemingly AI-generated “painting” on Truth Social. It features a photo of the president collaged with some pivotal moments in American history.

Donald Trump shares new AI image of American history

Donald Trump has shared what appears to be an AI-generated “painting” of himself, among a montage of multiple iconic events from American history. “Great painting!!” the president penned above the image in the Truth Social post.

The large rectangular painting features an ornate gold frame. Trump’s portrait appears at the top right corner, just above a SpaceX rocket blasting off. The left side of the painting shows a massive portrait of George Washington above an image presumably depicting the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Pictures of colonial-era settlers and wagons against a frontier backdrop are blended together. It is then followed by an image of a small family heading towards a church.

Meanwhile, the center of the painting is dominated by an image of the Statue of Liberty. The background includes the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Mount Rushmore, and a Wright brothers-style airplane above.

Other images in the painting feature the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima during World War II, an astronaut on the moon, and more. It also depicts a man from the colonial era setting with a small child and a humanoid robot.

This isn’t the first time Trump has shared what appear to be AI images on Truth Social. One such image that Trump posted in April sparked widespread backlash online. The AI photo depicted Trump as a Jesus-like entity with divine powers, healing a sick man. However, he deleted the image soon after facing criticism.

Trump defended the photo, saying that it portrayed him “as a doctor.” He went on to make more similar posts, including one depicting him embracing Jesus. “I think it is quite nice!!!” he wrote at the time.
