Is one of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island exiting ahead of Season 2? Rumors have been swirling that Liz McGraw is not returning next season. Liz started off as a fan favorite. However, her feuds with cast members Alicia Carmody and Jo-Ellen Tiberi swayed some viewers’ opinions of the hot-tempered “weed queen.”
Could the RHORI cast lose one of its biggest stars?
Liz and her husband, Gerry McGraw, own a cannabis dispensary. Meanwhile, Liz’s good friend, Dino Guilmette, is in hot water. He was charged with seven felonies and one misdemeanor, related to alleged conspiracy, drug dealing offenses, and fraudulently receiving COVID relief funds.
Recently, he turned down a plea deal and is facing a hefty sentence of up to 88 years in prison. In a 2021 state police detective’s affidavit, Gerry and Liz are reportedly listed as associates of Dino’s.
Of course, Liz’s heated argument with Jo-Ellen and Alicia at Rich DiMare’s show shocked some fans. On camera, Liz pushed Jo-Ellen’s chair and tugged her hair. Kudos to Rich for continuing the show amid the chaos.
Bravo and Cocktails shared a post via Instagram, shown above, which read, “Rumor has it … Liz won’t be back on RHORI.” The comments section lit up, with one fan writing, “Probably bc of the Dino situation.” Another user commented, “I need her to stay!! She’s my favorite!! The show won’t be the same without her.”
However, an insider told Reality Blurb, “Bravo definitely wants her back.” The source claimed that Liz was “invited back” for RHORI Season 2. The insider added, “It would be her own decision if she walked.” Still, the source could not confirm whether or not Liz would be holding a clam shell next season.
During RHORI, Liz seemed to struggle with being the eldest of the group and not connecting with some of the cast. So, if she didn’t return to RHORI, it wouldn’t come as a shock.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is streaming on Peacock.
