Prince Harry’s reported visit to Princess Diana’s gravesite is raising eyebrows. Royal insiders claim it could become more than a quiet family tribute. According to a new report, the Duke of Sussex is expected to take Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to their grandmother’s resting place during his upcoming U.K. visit. While the occasion would mark an emotional milestone for the family, sources allege there is growing concern that the visit could later be used as a public or commercial moment.

Prince Harry is expected to return to Britain next month for engagements connected to the 2027 Invictus Games. The Duke of Sussex is also reportedly scheduled to carry out charity work during the trip. Reports further suggest Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet could accompany him.

One part of the reported itinerary has attracted particular attention. Per RadarOnline, Archie and Lilibet are expected to visit Princess Diana’s grave at Althorp House for the first time. The visit, if it happens, would come just days after what would have been Diana’s 65th birthday.

Meanwhile, speculation has grown after reports that Althorp House will close to the public for two days while Harry is believed to be in Britain. No official reason has been given for the temporary closure. Even so, some observers have linked the timing to the reported family visit.

A source familiar with the estate claimed the unusual closure has naturally sparked questions. “Closing Althorp during its limited public opening season is something that very rarely happens,” the insider told the outlet. The source added there is “a genuine feeling” that any visit should remain “an intensely private moment” focused on remembering Diana.

However, another source claimed not everyone is convinced the occasion will stay that way. According to the insider, Harry’s visits always attract significant attention. What’s more, anything connected to Diana generates even greater public interest.

“There is concern that images or details… could eventually find their way into future commercial ventures,” the source claimed. The insider also argued that Diana’s gravesite “should never become part of a wider publicity narrative.” Instead, they added, it should remain “a place for quiet reflection and respect.”
