Country singer Jelly Roll is splitting from Bunnie Xo over major differences – a separation that has led to a $20 million divorce. Reports say that the decade-long relationship is tearing apart due to betrayals and lies.
Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord) has cited irreconcilable differences as the reason, according to the Tennessee court filing on May 18, but the problems seem to go deeper.

According to RadarOnline, an insider has stated that though it looked as if the couple could survive all adversities, “but behind the scenes, things were a lot messier than they admitted.”
Bunnie has admitted that she felt something was off when an old flame of Jelly started taking “cheap shots” at him on social media. When she confronted her husband about the issue, “He would gaslight the s–t out of me and make me feel crazy for doubting him.”
However, sources reveal that the affair was only the tip of the iceberg when it came to problems within the marriage. In her memoir “Stripped Down,” Bunnie has revealed that the marriage itself was ridden with toxic behaviour patterns displayed by her husband. A source explains, “There was always an element of uncertainty there, a lot of toxic patterns, that’s very hard to overcome – no matter how much love there is.”
Another point of contention is the fact that the couple began to publicly talk about plans of having a baby through IVF and surrogacy – but it all seems to be a moot point right now.
Their personalities and pasts may also have played a role. While Jelly Roll became a best-selling country singer who was also transitioning from a past of being a repeat offender and a former drug dealer, Bunnie came from the sex industry and transformed herself into a successful entrepreneur and podcaster.
