Bunnie Xo embraced single life after her Jelly Roll divorce with zero apparent interest in retreating. The podcast host said her newfound freedom had brought back her smile and unleashed a chaotic dating inbox.
The former couple finalized their divorce in July after several years together. Now, Bunnie said her DMs looked more like an all-you-can-eat romantic buffet.

Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, discussed her love life on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle. The 46-year-old appeared delighted by her new chapter.
“Ladies, they should have never let me back out in the streets because I love it here,” Bunnie joked. “I love it here, and I’m never going back.”
She described her breakup with Jelly Roll as “beautifully tragic.” Still, Bunnie said the difficult experience ultimately delivered an unexpected gift.
“I got my smile back and my smile’s to my ears,” she said. “I’m having the frickin’ time of my life, and I’m just thriving.”
Bunnie admitted she never expected the divorce to feel like such a blessing. Her inbox, meanwhile, apparently gave her plenty to keep track of.
“It is a frickin’ smorgasbord. It’s a boy buffet,” she joked. “I have a lot of women in my DMs too.”
Bunnie said she had so many messages that choosing whom to answer became difficult. She also teased that television audiences could not hear many pickup lines.
The Dumb Blonde host hoped her experience could encourage other women facing difficult personal situations. She said women often neglect themselves while prioritizing partners, friends, and children.
“Sometimes you need to be selfish and you need to pour into yourself,” Bunnie explained. She hoped others would remember that painful chapters eventually ended.
Bunnie also said she still wanted to have a baby. She planned to discuss that journey in her next book.
