The rapper last week ditched his performance at the Maine Tour Opener minutes before the scheduled time and was spotted at Rubin’s party. American businessman Rubin organizes his annual Fourth of July White Party for friends and family.
On Wednesday night, Wayne was seen attending the party at Hamptons along with celebrities including DJ Khaled, Alicia Keys, Jake Paul, and Kevin Durant. However, according to TMZ, it’s not confirmed if the rapper missed the Bangor, Maine tour for this party or not.
Wayne, who faced backlash after ditching the concert, posted an Instagram story apologising to the fans. He has rescheduled the concert to July 28, though he did not mention the reason for bailing on the concert.
Wayne attending the party was noted after Rubin posted a series of pictures. One of them included Wayne wearing an all-white outfit.
Soon after the news of his attending the White Party was released, fans criticised him over his behavior. One Reddit user wrote, “It’s a slap in the face to everyone that attended. Too funny how it seems like 2Chainz kind of called him out during his show, saying, “Any of y’all have a friend that doesn’t have their shit together and couldn’t make it to the concert tonight?”
