Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s guests are wondering about length of the wedding, sources say
As per Rob Shuter, some of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding guests are concerned about devoting an entire day to the couple’s celebrations. A source shared, “We just want to go to a wedding. Nobody needs a 10-hour event. At some point, it stops feeling like a celebration and starts feeling like an obligation.”
Another insider echoed these sentiments and claimed that several guests are intensely discussing the length of the wedding festivities. The source said, “Everyone’s asking the same thing: Why does it have to be this long? Most weddings are simple—ceremony, dinner, dancing, then everyone heads home happy. This one comes with an itinerary that never seems to end.”
Moreover, a third insider explained how guests cannot simply leave Swift and Kelce’s wedding celebrations prematurely. Hence, they are reportedly figuring out how to navigate the situation. The insider reportedly stated, “You can’t exactly be the person who leaves Taylor Swift’s wedding early. Once you’re in, you’re in. You’re basically committing your entire day, so everyone is already figuring out how to pace themselves.”
However, every source confirmed to Rob Shuter that they were delighted to receive the wedding invite. One source stated, “Everyone loves Taylor and Travis. No one’s complaining about celebrating them. We just want to watch them say ‘I do,’ see the kiss, enjoy the party, and spend time with friends. Sometimes the best weddings are the simplest ones.”
Previously, a law enforcement official confirmed to The Associated Press that Swift and Kelce are indeed tying the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3. The official confirmed that the festivities will begin with a rehearsal dinner, which was held on July 2 with about 100 people in attendance. This will be followed by a much bigger event on July 3 with about 1,000–2,000 guests in attendance, as per reports.
