Kate Middleton’s Brother Reveals Powerful Promise He Kept Amid Her Cancer Journey

James Middleton, brother of Kate Middleton, revealed in an Instagram post that he had kept a promise that he had made to his sister amid her cancer recovery journey.

Kate Middleton, who publicly revealed her cancer diagnosis on March 22, 2024, has already received praise from Prince William and others for the resilient front she put up during the painful journey.

James Middleton says a promise he made during Kate Middleton’s cancer treatment became reality

“Two years ago, I told you we’d climb this mountain together. We talked about climbing mountains while you were in hospital, and about the incredible healing power that nature can have for both the body and the mind. So it was such an honour to join you for your Three Peaks Challenge for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity,” James wrote.

He posted two photos along with this heartwarming message – one of the siblings hugging during the Three Peaks Climb and another of the duo posing alongside their parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, her husband Prince William and their three children: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.

James continued, writing, “Seeing how far you’ve come is nothing short of inspiring. Your strength, resilience, and determination, all while being the most amazing mother, wife, daughter, and sister, inspire me and so many others every single day.”

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity commented on the post, professing gratitude towards the siblings’ support for their mission:  “We couldn’t agree more! We’re incredibly grateful that Her Royal Highness is Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, and that the both of you are supporting The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.”

According to People, Kate pushed herself to climb Britain’s three highest mountains, Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon—in just 24 hours to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The organization supports groundbreaking cancer research and works to improve treatment for patients.
