A report by Page Six suggests that Kate Middleton once revealed that her hair naturally lightens, turning blond due to the sunshine.
She was recently seen attending a church service at Crathie Kirk in Scotland. The outlet obtained photos in which she can be seen flaunting her lighter hair. She sat in an SUV with her family while heading to the church over the weekend. Prince William, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George also accompanied her.
She wore a blazer by Ralph Lauren and paired it with a white blouse from Holland Cooper featuring intricate lace patterns. Middleton paired the look with a hat from Sylvia Fletcher for Lock & Co. and a pair of gemstone-adorned earrings. While she looked elegant as ever, it was her hair that drew the most attention.
She wore her hair down, and her blond locks were clearly visible as she traveled to Balmoral Castle with her family. This is not the first time she has sported a lighter look. Last September, when she appeared at the Natural History Museum’s newly renovated gardens in London, her hair was blond.
Neville Tucker, the royal hairstylist, revealed that she seemingly had “a full set of highlights.” He shared with Vanity Fair that this time, she had gone for a “strong look,” which was much different from how she usually looks.
However, just two months later, her hair had returned to its original color. An insider told actor Su Pollard the alleged reason behind her makeover, saying that, “It used to be brown, but it’s gone light in the sunshine.”
