Prince Harry continued his latest U.K. visit very low-key. The Duke of Sussex completely focused on his work linked to a cause that is very close to his heart. He avoided the spotlight as he attended the private meetings in London. He attended the visit without Meghan Markle and their children.
The Duke of Sussex quietly attended private Invictus Games Foundation meetings after Meghan Markle reportedly stayed home over security concerns
On July 8, Prince Harry visited the Royal Hospital Chelsea for a private meeting about the Invictus Games. He entered through a side road and avoided the media. The visit marked another stop during his U.K. trip ahead of the 2027 Invictus Games.
Meghan Markle had planned to join Prince Harry for the event at first. However, the plan changed as the security was not provided for Meghan Markle and her children during the trip. Prince Lilibet and Prince Archie also stayed back in California with their mother. Though, reports did not confirm if the family is going to join Prince Harry later during the visit.
Prince Harry returned back to Britain to support the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. After taking inspiration from the U.S. Warrior Games, he founded this competition in 2014. This event celebrates the injured, wounded and sick service members and veterans. Birmingham with host this Games after Vancouver-Whistler in 2025.
Harry also made an appearance at his longtime friend Misan Harriman’s documentary premiere on July 6. He attended the Invictus Games Foundation event at Chatham the next day. The Invictus Games Also marked the milestone in Harry and Meghan’s love story after they made their debut there in 2017.
