According to AOL, Alix shared a TikTok video modeling the coordinated set she wore to Wimbledon alongside her sister, Ashtin Earle, who wore a white mini dress with red and blue detailing. “Ashtin’s gonna zip me in!” she said in the clip and continued to say, “So this is the base, and then there’s a jacket,” describing the aesthetic she wanted to achieve, she said, “It’s giving princess.”
The Dancing With the Stars alum completed the look by adding a jacket and a pair of white lace Jimmy Choo pumps. “And then we have some white lace heels to go with this,” she said, before accessorizing with black sunglasses and a gold watch.
The outfit sparked an immediate reaction. One of them wrote, as quoted by People, “You look great, but this outfit is just not Wimbledon. Wimbledon is simple and classy.” Another commented, as per Tyla, “You look like you are going for tea, not tennis” and “It’s not Bridgerton, it’s Wimbledon.” While many drew comparisons between her look and her sister’s outfit. Among them, one wrote, “Ashton’s outfit is very Wimbledon. Yours is a cocktail dress. I mean, you always look gorgeous so you are slaying as always. I just don’t think it’s just right for the venue,” states BuzzFeed.
Alix appeared to address the criticism with a playful Instagram caption. Alongside a carousel of photos from the event featuring her outfit, she wrote, “Off to Bridgerton … I mean Wimbledon.” On which Anastasia Karanikolaou, another social media influencer, wrote, “Seasons diamond.”
Alix Earle has recently been spotted with Formula 1 driver Lando Norris. The pair was photographed at The Twenty Two in London, England, during the early morning hours of July 9, as per Just Jared. The media personality previously dated NFL star Braxton Berrios.
