John Stamos has no interest in ever taking part in one reality show. The Full House alum recently shared that there’s a specific reason he will never even entertain an offer to be on a long-running program featuring many celebrities from various industries.
While he had assurances from the radio personality that it’d be a great experience where he would learn a lot, John wasn’t having it. Despite John’s acting background, appearing in numerous musicals on Broadway, he is putting his foot down when it comes to this show.
John Stamos explains why Dancing With the Stars is an easy no
We’ve seen him act and heard him sing, but fans may never know if John is truly a triple threat. Speaking on The Bobbycast with Bobby Bones on Tuesday, the People’s Choice Award winner was asked if he’d ever consider joining the cast of Dancing with the Stars if called. “I’m never gonna do that show,” said John.
Even Bobby’s persuasion that he could learn a lot from being a part of it did not sway the man who portrayed Jesse Katsopolis on Full House. According to John, DWTS is popular because it displays “people suffering and looking like fools.” That’s something he wants no part of.
Bobby knows the show well, having been partnered with Emma Slater and winning the competition in Season 27. Even so, it seems like that is not on John’s radar and never will be. John joked that Bobby’s season was “rigged.”
While he might never compete on DWTS, John has appeared on the show before. He previously joined The Beach Boys for a medley during one episode.
John had been linked with the show a long time ago. He was among those rumored to be competing over a decade ago. In 2010, John tweeted that he didn’t see himself appearing on the show, adding, “I’m not a dancer.” The 35th season of DWTS begins in September.
Dancing with the Stars is available to stream on Disney+.
