John Stamos shared a candid mirror selfie on Instagram to celebrate his 63rd birthday.
The Full House alum seems to have made it a birthday tradition, as his 62nd birthday photo had followed a similar vein.
John Stamos marked another birthday by sharing a revealing mirror selfie with fans
Stamos clicked himself, bare from the waist up, clicking a mirror selfie that amply showed off his well-toned body. The post was simply titled “63”. Last year, on his 62nd birthday, he shared another topless moment, rinsing off in an outdoor shower in a New York City Hotel.
Birthday tradition or not, the actor had positioned the phone directly in front of his face, calling attention to his chiselled abs, bulging muscles, and arm tattoos. The photo was shot in black-and-white, and his hair was still wet from a recent shower. A towel lay beside him.
According to The U.S. Sun, the photo did not fail to gain the attention of his fans, who crowded the comment section and sang praises for the veteran TV star. One fan was effusive even as he repeated the actor’s catchphrase “Have Mercy” from the Full House. “63 where?? 63 never looked so good!! Have mercyyyyyy,” they wrote. “Uncle Jesse we see you,” another said, while a third person commented, “More like Uncle Yes-se! Happy Birthday!” A fourth person quipped, “Not John Stamos with the thirst trap.”
Kelly Rizzo, the widow of the late co-star Bob Saget, couldn’t hold back either. She wrote on a nostalgic note: “All I can think about is ‘what would Bob say’ right now. Happy birthday, brother John I love you!”
Full House was the hit family sitcom that ran from 1987 to 1995. John Stamos played Jesse Katsopolis, the rock-loving uncle who became one of the show’s most beloved characters. This series also launched the twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The characters reprised their roles for “Fuller House,” which ran from 2016 to 2020.
The Full House cast members also added their humorous takes on the photo, bringing to focus the fond relationship they shared decades after the show ended.
