Ryan Fitzpatrick dished on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in a new interview. The former NFL star spoke about his favorite parts of the high-profile couple’s “unbelievable” wedding. Among his many confessions, he shared that he and his wife, Liza, danced for six hours, enjoying the festivities to the fullest.

Ryan Fitzpatrick admitted he is still recovering from Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s recent wedding festivities. The former quarterback gushed over the “unbelievable” wedding celebrations and the “six-plus hours of dancing.” In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, he said, “We were very excited to get the invite and very privileged to be there.” He added, “They did everything top notch.”

Going further, Fitzpatrick gushed over Adam Sandler performing his duties as the wedding officiant exceptionally well. The 43-year-old said: “When Adam Sandler walked out—it had everybody floored. That was really cool. The ceremony was beautiful.” Fitzpatrick sweetly added that he and his wife are still recovering from the wedding festivities, which involved a lot of dancing.

He stated, “There was a lot of dancing, hours and hours. We’re still kind of recovering from being out on that dance floor for six-plus hours.” He said his “favorite moment” was spending the night with his wife on the dance floor, describing it as a “magical” experience.

For those unversed, Swift and Kelce officially became man and wife on July 3 at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden. As per a report by Page Six, the couple booked the venue for a multi-day event. Swift and Kelce hosted a rehearsal dinner on July 2 at Infosys Theater. Notably, 100 people attended the intimate event.

This was followed by the actual wedding ceremony on July 3, with approximately 1,000 people in attendance. A representative for Swift shared in a statement: “Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother, Austin Swift, served as Taylor’s Man of Honor, and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler” (via PEOPLE).
