Taylor Frankie Paul’s Legal War Just Expanded Beyond Dakota Mortensen

Amid all the legal drama with her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, Taylor Frankie Paul is putting her foot down.

When Dakota allegedly found a way around their mutual restraining orders by having a friend post online videos for him, Taylor wasted no time. After his buddy posted a TikTok showing Taylor sobbing during a fight with Dakota, she filed a civil stalking injunction.

On July 10, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star filed paperwork against Cru Eaton in Salt Lake County. Taylor asked the court to force Dakota’s pal to stop stalking and harassing her. In addition, she claims to have video/and or photographic evidence to support her request.

Why Taylor Frankie Paul filed a stalking petition over a viral video

According to TMZ, Taylor’s legal action came after her baby daddy’s roommate posted video of her sobbing during an argument. Ironically, Dakota had accused Taylor of being the abuser in court, but the video seems to show otherwise.

“Everyone is so … focused on what must have been happening before the video started,” Cru captioned the clip. “You guys do understand that Dakota doesn’t start these fights. So he has no way of knowing when he needs to be recording them, correct?”

The former couple faced each other in court last week, fighting over custody of their two-year-old son Ever. Earlier this year, Taylor temporarily lost custody of the toddler, amid Dakota’s abuse accusations. Around that time, TMZ also released video from a violent 2023 incident between the pair.

In June, a judge decided that TFP could resume unsupervised visits with her son, though Dakota retained primary custody. She was allowed to spend time with Ever one day a week, as well as alternating weekends.

Meanwhile, during the on-going divorce battle with her estranged husband Tate Paul, Taylor checked herself into rehab. While denying any issue with substance abuse, the Bachelorette alum claimed to be working on her mental health.

In the meantime, rumors persist that the SLOMW star’s Bachelorette season could still air, after being paused earlier this year. Still no word on any premiere date, however.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
