Former Marine Calling Donald Trump ‘Antichrist’ Raises Eyebrows

Former Marine’s shocking video about Donald Trump sparks federal investigation. A Florida congressional candidate’s controversial remarks about the president drew swift condemnation from military leadership and law enforcement agencies.

William Upham’s recent comment about Donald Trump draws backlash

William Upham, a Republican write-in candidate for Florida’s 5th Congressional District, posted a video calling President Donald Trump “the Antichrist.” The former U.S. Marine also stated in the nearly seven-minute clip that Trump “must be killed.” Upham describes himself on X as a prosecutor “running to fix a broken political system.”

The video begins with Upham discussing his goals of restoring bipartisanship and returning power to the working class. The tone shifts quickly as he claims the country faces a spiritual battle. “We are led by a president who is the enemy of God,” Upham states before citing Bible passages.

Upham references his Marine officer oath to defend the Constitution “against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” He then declares there is “no doubt” Trump is “the Antichrist.” “He is a false messiah. And he is your enemy. And he must be killed,” Upham said during the video.

Later, Upham urges viewers to question whether they are “worshiping a false idol.” He concludes by saying, “President Trump is the Antichrist. And he will be killed and sent to hell. God will prevail against evil.”

The U.S. Marine Corps quickly condemned the remarks and confirmed Upham received a medical discharge on May 30, 2025. “The comments made by Upham are a direct violation of the oath he swore to uphold,” the service wrote on X. The Marine Corps added his statements do not align with the service’s values.

The U.S. Secret Service acknowledged the comments and confirmed it investigates anything perceived as a threat toward protectees. Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao also responded on X, writing, “Unacceptable. William Upham is no longer a Marine and does not represent our values or ethos.”
