Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia unleashed a fiery criticism of Erika Kirk during a recent podcast episode, taking aim at the conservative activist’s views on women and the growing “trad wife” movement. The Barstool personality accused Charlie Kirk’s widow of promoting a message she believed conflicted with her own public role, while warning that young women were being influenced by it.
The outspoken remarks came during the July 12 episode of Plan Bri Uncut, where LaPaglia devoted several minutes to criticizing Kirk’s speeches and activism. Her comments followed recent appearances in which Kirk encouraged women to embrace traditional gender roles and motherhood.
Brianna argues that Erika Kirk’s public persona contradicts the message she promotes
LaPaglia accused Kirk of using her late husband Charlie Kirk’s legacy to build her own platform after his assassination in 2025. During the podcast, she said, “She was just there with Charlie Kirk and now she’s trying to act like she’s some big activist, some crazy lady that’s going to save all of women.”
The outlet said LaPaglia argued Kirk’s messaging encouraged women to move backward rather than forward. She claimed, “You’re putting women behind five million hundred steps,” before criticizing what she described as the influence of the “trad wife” movement on younger audiences.
LaPaglia also alleged that women attending Kirk’s events were particularly vulnerable because of their age and limited life experience. She said, “All the trad wife 18-year-olds that haven’t even had their frontal lobe developed yet,” were being “preyed” upon, adding they “don’t even know where they stand in the world yet because they haven’t experienced the real world yet.”
The publication noted that LaPaglia referenced remarks Kirk previously made about marriage, submission, and traditional family roles. She criticized those views, saying women were being told “we shouldn’t be able to vote” and “should give all of their rights to the man of the household because that’s how patriarchy works and women are too emotional.”
LaPaglia then questioned what she saw as a contradiction between Kirk’s message and her own leadership role. “Then what are you doing, Erika Kirk, standing up there and leading a rally? You’re such a, like, hypocrite in the sense of you shouldn’t be doing that then,” she said.
She concluded her criticism by adding, “That was what your husband should have been doing and you should shut up and just go take care of your family because that is what you stand for,” before ending her rant with, “Oh my God. I wish Erika Kirk was here right now.”
Kirk had recently encouraged women at Turning Point USA’s Women’s Leadership Summit to embrace marriage and motherhood, saying “submission is not a dirty word” and urging couples to “have more kids than you can afford.”
