Bailee Ann DeFord addressed Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s divorce during a July 19 TikTok livestream. The 18-year-old rejected claims that infidelity ended their marriage. “Nobody cheated,” Bailee said, according to People. She told viewers they had “no idea what happened” and warned that the internet would “crumble” if she revealed the story.
Her remarks implied a deeper explanation without naming a cause. Bailee suggested that the public had misunderstood the breakup, but she did not accuse Jelly Roll or Bunnie Xo of misconduct. She then changed the subject.
In an earlier post about the divorce, she called the public interest in her family’s private life “crazy” and told followers to worry about their own homes. She added that she was not speaking about it “yet.”
Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18. Court documents listed May 9 as the separation date and cited irreconcilable differences. The former couple finalized the divorce earlier in July.
Both stars have denied cheating. On her “Dumb Blonde” podcast, Bunnie said they had “served” their purpose for each other and still planned to co-parent. Jelly Roll later told concertgoers that nobody cheated and called Bunnie his best friend.
Clues had fueled speculation. Jelly Roll removed Bunnie’s name from his Instagram bio and appeared without his wedding ring at CMA Fest. Bailee’s warning leaves the question unanswered. Until someone involved shares more, her comments challenge speculation rather than confirm a scandal.
