According to Woman’s Day, it was this combination of events that left Markle concerned. An insider claimed she read the recent report about Harry and found it “cringeworthy as hell” and “incredibly unfortunate.”
The source went on to claim that Markle had heard stories about Harry’s party days before. However, they alleged the latest account revealed a side of him she had never fully known. Per the insider, the report was “quite eye-opening,” even for someone familiar with his past.
Harry is said to dispute many of the claims. Even so, the insider alleged that Markle found parts of the story difficult to process. They claimed she was “horrified” by some of the descriptions and “mortified” by the attention they received. More than anything, the source suggested she hated seeing Harry back in the headlines for the wrong reasons.
That, however, is only part of the concern. The insider claimed Markle has also become increasingly worried about Harry’s state of mind. “Meghan does worry about Harry’s overall mood these days,” the source told the outlet. They went on to allege that he has become “way more grumpy and less fun to be around” as ongoing pressures continue to build.
Meanwhile, the couple’s time apart apparently made the situation even more difficult. While Harry was in the U.K., Markle was believed to be caring for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet while also managing her growing business ventures.
“On one hand she wants to be supportive,” the source said. On the other, they claimed she has been balancing parenting, work, and growing concerns about the couple’s future. According to the insider, both Markle and Harry are now “worried sick” about how the recent setbacks could affect their reputation and wider brand.
