Andrew and Tristan have lost public support as MAGA allies keep their distance from the brothers. Prosecutors in the U.K. have charged the brothers with 38 offences, including rape, sex trafficking, human trafficking, and other criminal offences.
In the wake of events, the brothers were recently arrested in Miami. The U.K. has requested their extradition through a U.S. court, putting the Trump administration in a tough spot. The extradition request has led MAGA supporters to keep their distance from the brothers.
According to Radar, a source said, “There has been a noticeable shift in recent days. People who once embraced the Tates because of their popularity are now keeping their distance. Their MAGA allies have gone quiet. The legal situation has become far more serious, and many believe there is little to gain by being publicly associated with them.”
“Those around Donald Trump are focused on avoiding unnecessary distractions. The feeling among several former supporters is that this case now belongs in the courtroom, not in the political arena, and many who previously defended the brothers have simply gone quiet,” the source added.
The brothers’ legal team reportedly contacted former Trump lawyer Alina Habba, who extended her support earlier on her podcast. However, they reportedly have not received any response from the lawyer. Paul Ingrassia, who was serving as general counsel at the General Services Administration, said, “I have no ongoing connection to them now.”
Donald Trump Jr, who previously mentioned Andrew Tate as a friend, has kept his silence. Their arrest has prompted Trump supporters to step away from the brothers, whom they earlier supported.
