A photo of Ryan Gosling and Johnny Depp hanging out at the San Diego Comic-Con has gone viral mainly due to the star power in the image.
Eva Mendes, wife of Ryan Gosling, has called it out as AI and requested the account to give a disclaimer.

The photo from an account, Opavisions, shows Depp in Ebenezer costume walking amid the Comic-Con crowd with Ryan Gosling. They are together with a character from the account called Slopaxo. Initially, the account did not post an AI disclaimer.
“Some of our favorite moments from Comic-Con weren’t on stage — they were watching Ryan Gosling, Johnny Depp, and @slopaxo moving through the crowds like the unlikeliest best-friend trio,” the post said.
According to The Wrap, Mendes jumped into the scene, saying that her husband and Depp were never together at the event. “FAKE,” Mendes said. “Please let people know when you’re putting out AI.”
The reply caught Opavisions off-guard, and they made a series of posts to apologize. Perhaps they had not expected a direct relative of one of the stars to reach out and comment on the post. They posted three replies to Mendes’s comment. The first said, “OK we will sorry,” and followed it up with, “Wow. I’m a big fan I love your movies.”
In the third comment, they finally gave the disclaimer, writing, “DISCLAIMER: THIS WAS AI***”. This was followed by a note of appreciation for the stars. They wrote, “You’re right, and I’ll be more clear going forward. BTW, Ryan’s work has genuinely inspired me for years – ‘The Nice Guys’ (real SLOPAXO vibes) and ‘Beyond the Pines’ are some of my favorite films ever and a huge influence on the kind of entertaining stories I love creating one day.”
Though Depp and Gosling were not together, they did visit the event separately. Depp attended the first day of the event in “Ebenezer” costume for a surprise promotion of his upcoming movie. Gosling, on the other hand, appeared at Marvel’s Hall H panel.
