Nick Cannon Turns Child Support Into a Punchline After Fathering 12 Kids

Nick Cannon is treating his child support bills as prime comedy material. The dad of 12 turned the topic into a skit with girlfriend Bre Tiesi. Few celebrities lean into their own headlines quite like this. With a famously large blended family, the entertainer has never shied away from poking fun at the size of his brood.

Nick Cannon is once again joking about child support

Nick Cannon is back to making light of his child support obligations, this time in a comedy clip alongside girlfriend Bre Tiesi. The pair shared the joint Instagram Reel on July 25, and it quickly spread across TikTok and other feeds.

“Nick, it’s time to pay child support,”Tiesi said, before Cannon fired back, “Como se what?” When she pressed the point, he tried a string of excuses. “No, I don’t, I’m Amish,” he replied. Tiesi wasn’t buying it. “What does that have to do with anything?” she continued. “You have to pay child support.”

Cannon kept the gags coming. “No I don’t!” he joked. “I got the vaccine!” He then argued he was off the hook “if I have over 10 kids,” prompting Tiesi to shoot back, “That’s only in foreign countries, like China.” The couple captioned the post, “When it’s time to start paying child support…”

The running joke lands because Cannon really is dad to 12 kids with six different women. He shares 4-year-old son Legendary Love with Tiesi, twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey, and several more with Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, LaNisha Cole, and Alyssa Scott.

His son Zen, whom he shared with Scott, died in 2021 at 5 months old after a brain cancer diagnosis.
