Nolan Wells’ friend Bart Edmiston‘s attorney sent a cease-and-desist letter amid ongoing speculation surrounding Wells. The legal move reportedly targeted an OnlyFans model accused of making allegedly false claims about Edmiston’s involvement. The development marked another legal battle connected to the investigation.
Another legal battle has emerged in the Nolan Wells case
According to TMZ, attorney Russell Latino sent a five-page cease-and-desist letter to social media personality Kymbra Li. The letter reportedly accused Li of making false and defamatory statements about Edmiston online. Latino claimed Li had allegedly accused Edmiston of helping cause Nolan’s death. The attorney also alleged she claimed Edmiston participated in an alleged cover-up surrounding the investigation.
The letter reportedly claimed Li had also published Edmiston’s address and photographs of his home. Latino further alleged that property records and information about family members’ workplaces had been shared online.
According to the letter, Edmiston’s attorney argued that the information could expose his client and relatives to harassment. Latino reportedly demanded that Li remove or make her posts private. He also asked her to preserve the posts as potential evidence.
The attorney additionally demanded a public apology from Li. Latino reportedly gave Li five business days to comply with the demands. However, the attorney warned that Edmiston could pursue legal action regardless of whether she followed the requests.
According to the report, Edmiston provided investigators with his phone, photographs, videos, boat, and GPS data. Latino also reportedly said law enforcement had not identified Edmiston as a suspect or person of interest.
The attorney appeared confident that further legal action could follow. “I love when little dogs think they are big dogs,” Latino reportedly said. He added, “I anticipate at least two more such notices going out by the end of the week.”
The latest development highlighted the growing legal tensions surrounding online discussions of Nolan’s case. As speculation continues, Edmiston’s legal team appears focused on challenging claims made against him.
