Queen Camilla is reportedly displeased with Meghan Markle over an alleged breach of their royal reunion agreement.
According to New Idea, the Queen Consort had requested complete privacy around their private family meeting if the Duchess wanted any chance of future get-togethers. Officials did not release any official photos from the reunion. Markle and her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, also did not appear in the UK.
However, days later, Meghan Markle posted a photo gallery from their “summer break” on social media. It featured the family walking at Althorp Estate, where Princess Diana spent her early years. Camilla was reportedly displeased, having warned the Duchess not to go public about the meeting.
“Camilla’s words appear to have fallen on deaf ears,” a palace source shared with New Idea. “She feels that she was clear about no social media posts and if Meghan thinks Allthorp was an exception, she was very wrong.”
“Charles is extremely disappointed. He was told by everyone, including William, that Harry and Meghan wouldn’t be able to keep their traps shut, but he still opened up the doors for this reunion,” they noted.
“He wants Harry back home where he belongs, but this isn’t the Harry he once knew. Now the family is dead against inviting the Sussexes back for Christmas,” added the source.
Another insider had previously told the outlet, “The family doubts that Meghan will be able to stick to this agreement, but Harry and Meghan are well aware this is a ‘test of their loyalties’, and if they wish to continue being Royals, it has to be in the King’s interests.”
