The raging wildfires in Europe are on the cusp of reaching Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s expensive but disputed winery in France. The famed Château Miraval, located in the French village of Correns, is in danger of being engulfed, with fires gradually creeping in on the lavish estate.

According to a recent report by TMZ, the Château Miraval winery owned by Pitt and Jolie is facing the threat of destruction due to the surrounding wildfires.
The flames have been slowly spreading across Europe, including France, and have now closed in on two Hollywood celebrities’ opulent winery. So far, firefighters have bravely defended the estate, using helicopters and trucks to fight the fires and keep them away from the establishment. The first responders have also utilized water from the property’s private lake to put out all fiery disturbances nearby.
The photos of the region surrounding Château Miraval, shared by TMZ, highlight thick gray smoke rising into the sky in close proximity to the vineyards and fields.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie originally leased the château in 2008 for three years before purchasing the property altogether. The couple even held their wedding rituals at the estate when they tied the knot during a private ceremony in August 2014.
However, sometime after their split, Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie, alleging that she had sold her stake in the winery without consulting him. The “Fight Club” star claimed that Jolie’s actions violated an alleged verbal agreement that the pair had, all the while hurting any possible sale propositions in the future.
The lawsuit, which saw Brad Pitt ask for $35 million from Angelina Jolie in damages, is still dragging on, with a trial set to begin on February 1, 2027.
