Brock Lesnar, 49, who holds a 5-3 record as an MMA fighter, has retired from WWE. According to Sportsnet, he said, “I’m here today to do this interview to let the world and everybody know that I am retired, and I wanted to say a big thank you to everybody. Saturday was a very emotional day for me. That’s it for me in the squared circle and for everything else too.”
Lesnar announced his retirement on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday. The announcement sparked fresh discussion among UFC fans about a possible return. Lesnar’s history with the UFC has kept fans’ hopes alive. His UFC career ended after he tested positive for clomiphene, a prohibited substance, in 2016, according to Central Oregon Daily.
Many fans congratulated him on his successful career, while others speculated about his next move. Some suggested a fight with YouTuber and professional boxer Jake Paul, a UFC return or an appearance at WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar is an 11-time world champion in WWE, an NCAA collegiate wrestling champion and a UFC heavyweight champion. He began his WWE career in 2000 and became the youngest WWE champion in 2002.
