Marciano Brunette Settles Case After Demi Engemann Sexual Assault Claims Dispute

Marciano Brunette has officially ended his defamation lawsuit against The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann and the show’s producers. Both sides settled after months of legal battles, according to court documents. The agreement settles the issue and bars either side from raising the same claims again.

According to TMZ, Marciano told the court that everyone involved agreed to settle the case. The lawsuit will be dismissed with prejudice, meaning the case will not be brought back to court. Marciano filed a lawsuit against Demi Engemann and the producers after being accused of sexual assault in comments on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. He said those remarks hurt his reputation and labelled him a “sexual predator”.

Since filing the lawsuit in December 2025, Marciano has been denying the allegations. He has said the encounter between him and Demi was consensual. He further alleged that Demi has been manipulating the public narrative by changing her story.

The producers also challenged Marciano’s lawsuit during the legal battle. They claimed he signed documents that barred him from suing the show-related claims. Even with those arguments, both sides agreed to a settlement rather than going through a trial.

Neither Marciano nor Demi has commented on the settlement publicly. The settlement terms have not been released in the court filing. The deal ends one of the biggest legal battles linked to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and Vanderpump Villa.
