Liam Obergfoll has shared his perspective on Ariana Biermann‘s reported hookup with Charlie Zakkour during a trip to Las Vegas. The Next Gen NYC star reflected on his reaction, their conversations afterward, and where his relationships with both castmates stand today. He also explained why he chose to move forward instead of dwelling on the situation.

During a conversation with PageSix Radio on SiriusXM, Liam recalled hearing speculation after the cast returned from Las Vegas. “I had a weird inkling,” he said. However, he explained he never became overly concerned because he and Ariana were constantly talking. “We were talking all the time,” Liam recalled.
Liam said he generally prefers to trust people instead of assuming the worst. “I’m a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve, and I like to trust people,” he explained. Although the situation hurt him, he credited Ariana’s honesty with helping them move forward. He said, “She was honest with our communication and the things we spoke about.”
The Bravo star also refused to judge Ariana too harshly. Liam acknowledged that she believed she “made some mistakes.” Even so, he added, “I don’t knock her for just being human.” He also said his life experiences helped him view the situation differently.
Liam also addressed criticism from other men in the friend group. Some questioned why he pursued Ariana because of her previous connection with Hudson. Liam dismissed those concerns, saying, “I don’t owe them anything.” He added, “She’s pretty, and I’m going to talk to her.”
When asked about Charlie, Liam said there was no major feud between them. “I would say it’s pretty cordial,” he explained. While they do not spend time together alone, Liam acknowledged that Charlie remains part of the wider group. As he put it, “Charlie’s Charlie, and he’s going to be around.”
Liam’s comments suggest that the Las Vegas drama no longer defines his friendship with Ariana. Instead, he appears focused on moving forward while keeping relationships within the cast as respectful as possible.
