Hilary Duff reveals daughter had ER visit hours before her Madison Square Garden concert
Hilary Duff shared her daughter’s ER visit story during her concert at Madison Square Garden, NYC. PEOPLE shared a video online, capturing the moment. She told the crowd on Wednesday about how her day didn’t start on a good note.
The artist started by revealing that her children “are here tonight.” She received a big cheer from the audience. “I can’t believe I get to show them this. We were in the ER this morning getting some stitches for my 5-year-old,” she said. Hearing the news, people sounded worried, so Duff reassured them that her little one is “fine.”
It was said that Duff and Matthew Koma’s daughter, Mae, received the stitches. “It’s all good,” she informed her fans. “But it’s very ‘our family-coded’ that I would be playing my first show at MSG and also be in the emergency room getting my kid stitched up.” With a beautiful smile, the mom of four gave a shoutout to her daughter, exclaiming, “Mae Mae, you are very brave.”
Duff returned to the concert tour scene after decades in June. During her appearance on the red carpet at the 52nd Annual American Music Awards, she talked about her children. She was asked if her kids were excited about their mother’s tour.
“They are. And I think I think we’re going to have like an amazing summer, but it’s a little scary before we get there. I’m like, ‘How do I pack for this?,’” Duff replied.
