Hilary Duff Turns Her NYC Concert Into Pizza Party With Daughters

Hilary Duff turned her sold-out NYC concert into a pizza party with her little daughters on August 6. The “Lizzy McGuire” alum had the impromptu party onstage with the little ones as the lucky guests while the audience cheered. This came a day after she told fans she had to make an emergency room visit with her 5-year-old daughter, Mae, hours before her Night 1 concert at Madison Square Garden.

Hilary Duff shares three daughters, Banks, 7, Mae, 5, and Townes, 2, with her husband, Matthew Koma. During her second Lucky Me Tour concert at Madison Square Garden, she brought out her little girls for an NYC-style pizza party. They walked onto the stage with a pie from Joe’s Pizza. Her youngest daughter, Townes, was quick to walk into her mother’s arms.

Duff introduced the girls to the audience before sitting down on the stage with them. She affectionately addressed Mae as “Mae Mae” and Townes as “Townsey Bear.” Then, the four of them shared the pizza, each of them grabbing a slice from the box.

The “Weather for Tennis” singer was wearing an oversized white tee with the graphic of her ex-boyfriend’s band, Good Charlotte. The day before, the band had joined her onstage to perform a rendition of their hit song, “The Anthem.” She paired the top with light-wash wide-leg jeans. Her daughters also wore jeans, paired with tees, just like their mother.

During the August 5 concert at Madison Square Garden, Duff revealed to the audience that she was in the ER with her daughter. She said, “My kids are here tonight. I can’t believe I get to show them this. We were in the ER this morning getting some stitches for my 5-year-old.”

She assured fans that her daughter was “fine” after the hospital visit. Encouraging her daughter, she sweetly said, “Mae Mae, you’re very brave.”
