Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby has given her fans an update on her romantic life. The 38-year-old TV personality is dating Josh Gudenburr, whom she met at a speed-dating event on RHOP Season 9.
Ashley Darby opens up about her current romance status with Josh and a major upcoming relationship milestone
During the New York City premiere of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20s, Darby spoke with ET. When asked about her love life and whether she was still with Josh, Darby replied, “Yes, actually.” “I am still with Josh. We are figuring out as we go. We are actually having a very big discussion in a month. Like the discussion,” she said. When the host asked if she was ready for that, Darby laughed and said, “No.”
The former Miss District of Columbia previously spoke about Gudenburr on the January 12, 2025, episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. She described him as a “good guy” and said the two enjoyed “hanging out.” She told Andy that the two had not put a label on their relationship, adding, “We are only banging each other.” By the RHOP Season 9 finale, Ashley and Josh were reportedly “casually dating.”
Before her current romance status with Gudenburr, Darby was married to Australian restaurateur Michael Darby from May 2014 until their divorce was finalized in early 2025. The former couple shares two children, Dean, 5, and Dylan, 3, according to Essence.
The mother of two said they are at “very different stages” in their lives and have different goals for the future. She added that they both want each other to find happiness and fulfillment, but believe they cannot do so together.
