Backstreet Boys Have Something Up Their Sleeves for F1 Vegas

The Backstreet Boys teased a few surprises for their upcoming F1 Las Vegas afterparty, leaving fans wondering what the group had planned for one of the city’s biggest nights of 2026. The band was set to headline the official post-race celebration at Sphere on November 21, bringing its Into the Millennium spectacle to Formula 1 weekend.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix runs November 19-21, with a packed entertainment lineup surrounding the racing action. The Backstreet Boys’ F1 afterparty would cap Saturday night inside Sphere, giving international fans another reason to stick around after the checkered flag.

Backstreet Boys teased possible surprises for their F1 Las Vegas afterparty at Sphere on November 21

During a media event, AJ McLean promised a trip down memory lane for the Backstreet Boys Sphere performance. “We’re gonna take you guys down memory lane with our biggest album ‘Millennium,’ and you’re gonna see some incredible visuals, all the choreography, all the hits, so come on out,” McLean said, according to The Blast.

Nick Carter called the event “an honor,” particularly because international fans could attend the race before heading to the concert. “We have a big fan base worldwide. This gives us an opportunity for all those fans who might not have seen the show to come in, watch the races and come on over to the afterparty,” Carter said.

Then came the tantalizing bit. Asked whether the F1 afterparty would include surprises, the group kept its cards close. “We have to see” and were “planning it right now,” the members said.

Howie Dorough kept the promise simple: “We’re gonna be singing. We’re gonna be there, having a good time. We’ll have a great show for everybody.”

The Backstreet Boys already knew how to work Sphere. Their Into the Millennium residency launched in 2025 as the venue’s first pop residency, eventually surpassing 40 shows and adding three New Year’s weekend performances for December 31, January 1 and January 2.

The official F1 Afterparty would begin at 11:30 p.m. on November 21, with limited ticket packages and add-ons available through the Grand Prix.
