Katie Holmes is no longer keeping her latest romance completely off social media. The Dawson’s Creek alum has taken another public step with artist Jason Bard Yarmosky, weeks after the pair first sparked dating talk in the Hamptons.

Holmes and Yarmosky made their relationship Instagram official on Aug. 13. Yarmosky shared photos from a coastal getaway on his Instagram Stories, including a smiling shot of Holmes. She then reposted his Stories to her own Instagram account.
The posts also showed art, a sunset and scenes from their trip. The pair did not share a traditional couples photo. Still, the matching posts marked the first time they had acknowledged their romance together on social media. The new relationship update comes about a month after Holmes and Yarmosky first fueled romance rumors.
The Katie Holmes dating story began in July. Holmes and Yarmosky were seen holding hands while attending a screening of The Invite in East Hampton on July 10. Sources later confirmed that they were romantically involved.
The pair reportedly met at a dinner during the Tribeca Festival in June. Holmes was there for her film Happy Hours, while Yarmosky took part in the festival’s Artist Awards Program.
By July 25, Katie Holmes’ boyfriend was accompanying her to a Ferragamo event in Bridgehampton. Holmes even stepped out beside Yarmosky in a sheer Ferragamo look. They took another step on Aug. 7 when they attended the Guild Hall Summer Gala together. It marked their first red carpet appearance as a couple.
Holmes, 47, is nine years older than Yarmosky, 38. However, reports suggest the Katie Holmes age-gap romance has not been an issue for the couple. They have instead bonded over art and other creative interests. Yarmosky is a New York artist whose work often explores aging, memory and time. Holmes, meanwhile, became a household name playing Joey Potter on Dawson’s Creek.
After several public dates and a red carpet debut, their latest social media move makes the relationship harder to keep under wraps.
