According to TMZ, Tate Paul filed new court documents Thursday, requesting that a judge unseal Taylor Frankie Paul’s drug-test results. The latest filing marks another development in the ongoing custody dispute involving “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star. Taylor and Tate share two children, Indy and Ocean.
Tate’s request comes weeks after he sought a restraining order against his ex-wife. In that filing, he alleged Taylor had displayed increasingly erratic behavior. He argued that he should receive sole legal and physical custody of their children. Taylor denied those allegations.
Following the competing claims, the court ordered Taylor to undergo drug testing as part of the custody proceedings. The judge ruled that Taylor could continue having unsupervised visits with Indy and Ocean unless a drug test returned a positive result. If that happened, her parenting time would become supervised.
Tate is now asking the court to unseal those test results, although the filing does not indicate whether the court has ruled on his request.
Neither Taylor nor her legal team has publicly responded to Tate’s latest motion. The legal battle comes as Taylor remains in the spotlight through “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” The series has chronicled parts of her personal life and relationships. The reality star has also made headlines outside the courtroom. Earlier this month, she responded after Tate debuted his new relationship publicly.
For now, the custody case remains ongoing. It is unclear when the court will decide whether the drug-test results should be unsealed or whether the request will affect the broader custody proceedings. As with all family court matters, the allegations raised by both parties remain part of an active legal dispute. The court has not made final findings regarding custody.
