Harry now reportedly plans to visit Britain in September for the WellChild Awards.
Prince Harry reportedly plans more UK visits after his family reunion with King Charles
Prince Harry is reportedly hoping to have more visits to the UK after his recent private reunion with King Charles. According to The Times, the Duke of Sussex felt so “buoyed, very happy and really energised” after his reunion with his father that he would like to return to the UK “every few months.”
Harry intends to return “more and more” to Britain over the next year. Moreover, reports suggest that the Duke will be offered royal accommodation during his September visit to the country. But “no decision has yet been made” on whether Meghan Markle and their children will join him for that trip.
Additionally, Harry has plans to visit his father frequently. “The way the wind is blowing, he’s going to want to be here more and more,” a source close to the Duke dished. “He’s happy these trips can now have more focus on the patronages and be less obscured by the other nonsense. He wants more of a foothold here, more trips back, less courtroom drama. And he always loves seeing his family.”
Harry’s return to the UK isn’t just about mending ties with his father but also patching things up with his older brother, Prince William. Multiple reports have indicated that the Prince of Wales is not interested in reconnecting with his younger brother. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond revealed to The Mirror, “William, as far as we can see, seems set on concentrating on his own family and his work without the angst of dealing with his rift with Harry.”
