Witney Carson is heading back to the ballroom with more than one big change ahead. The Dancing with the Stars pro revealed that she is expecting her third child with husband Carson McAllister.
Still, pregnancy will not keep the reigning Mirrorball champion from competing. Carson also confirmed that Guillermo Rodriguez will be her celebrity partner.

Carson announced both updates during an Aug. 17 appearance on Good Morning America, The Hollywood Reporter reported. She said she plans to compete throughout the season as long as she and the baby remain healthy.
Meanwhile, Carson told People that she is “so incredibly grateful” to expand her family. She and McAllister already share sons Leo, 5, and Jet, 3. However, the dancer admitted that her first trimester has brought intense nausea and left her in “pure survival mode.”
Even so, Carson wants to balance motherhood with the job she loves. She said dancing and being a mom both matter deeply to her. With Witney Carson pregnant, the season could also mark new territory for the longtime pro. Carson expects to become the first professional dancer on the show to compete this far along in pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Carson said she was “so stoked” about Rodriguez because she finds him sweet and fun. The Guillermo Rodriguez DWTS announcement first came in June, when Jimmy Kimmel revealed that his longtime sidekick would join the cast.
Rodriguez was among the first celebrities confirmed for DWTS 35. Earlier, Carson had also named Tom Holland as her dream partner for the upcoming season.
Instead, she will enter Dancing with the Stars Season 35 with Rodriguez and a major personal milestone. For now, Carson plans to keep dancing while closely monitoring her health and pregnancy.
