The rapper recently took to Instagram to reveal his watch, while also talking about its hidden secret and explaining why owning it always gives him a sense of pleasure.
Drake wrote, “Today I received the most important thing I have ever had the pleasure of owning. This is the One of One Piece Unique Ice Gradient Daytona by @rolex
Crafted to celebrate the record breaking milestones of 2026.”
“Please do not get your local jeweler to recreate. This is a stand alone and a part of history,” he added.
Later, rapper concluded, “Thank you to the wonderful team at Rolex for blessing me with such a generational ticker ⌛️”
The watch features baguette-cut diamonds and sapphires across the bracelet, along with a pave dial. The watch features the phrase “Freeze the World” in blue lettering across its caseback, while reports estimate the watch’s value at around $2–3 million.
As for “Freeze the World,” the phrase comes from a song snippet featured on Drake’s ninth studio album, Iceman, which was released on May 15, 2026. The phrase had previously appeared in a promotional teaser and livestream.
Several interesting details have emerged around the phrase. On April 21, 2026, Toronto streamer Krisha revealed that a promotional ice sculpture contained a waterproof bag printed with the words “Freeze the World.”
Drake’s Iceman album became a massive hit, debuting at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 with 463,000 equivalent album units. It also swept the top three spots on the chart alongside the companion projects Habibti and Maid of Honour.
