Malika Haqq has been close friends with Khloé Kardashian for 25 years. The two have maintained their longtime friendship over the years. However, Malika has recently made headlines for her upcoming series, The Girls. During a recent discussion, she called out co-star Natalie Halcro for her self-centered behavior.
Malika Haqq says Natalie Halcro showed a ‘lack of accountability’ while filming Hulu’s The Girls
The 43-year-old actress recently spoke exclusively with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, where she discussed Hulu’s The Girls and revealed that Natalie Halcro tends to think more about herself.
Haqq said, “I don’t think any one of us is messy; I think one of us is self-centered. I think Natalie thinks about herself a lot.”
Malika Haqq went on to say that Natalie Halcro’s habit of thinking about herself has led to a “lack of accountability.” She also revealed how the cast tried to confront the 38-year-old about her behavior.
Later, Malika speculated, “I don’t think she’s as comfortable being as forthright as, say, Yris [Palmer] is, or she’s just a little more sensitive.”
While the California-born actress holds this view about Halcro, her co-stars Nicole Williams English and Olivia Pierson have a different opinion. They appear to be more supportive of the Canadian-American actress.
“I believe Natalie is not self-centered. I actually believe the contrary because, in this project, she gave her all and she did a lot of good things for the show,” Pierson said
Williams, on the other hand, believes that Natalie Halcro puts others before herself.
As for The Girls, Hulu will premiere the series on August 21, 2026, with all episodes available at once. The show will feature several members of Khloé Kardashian’s close circle, including Malika Haqq, Khadijah Haqq McCray, Natalie Halcro, Olivia Pierson, Yris Palmer, and Nicole Williams English. Khloé Kardashian serves as the executive producer and narrator of The Girls.
