Post Malone recently proposed to his girlfriend Christy Lee. Soon after the photographs surfaced, people were quick to speculate about the massive engagement ring. The Clear Cut founder and CEO Olivia Landau spoke to Page Six about the ring’s solitaire style. She said, “When I saw this ring, I audibly gasped. It looks like a beautiful oval diamond, probably around anywhere from 10 to 15 carats.”
Olivia Landau estimated the ring’s value between $1 and $2 million. Katie Zimmerman, SVP of merchandising at Jared Jewelers and Diamonds Direct, also agreed with Landau’s estimate and said that the solitaire could be as large as 17 carats.
Zimmerman said, “The diamond appears to have a distinctive faceting characteristic, and it would not be surprising if it were an old mine cut or another unique diamond cut.”
“Old mine cut diamonds are especially prized because they are hand-cut, giving each stone its own unique personality and a softer, more romantic glow than many modern cuts,” she added.
Zimmerman compared Post Malone’s fiancée’s ring with other celebrity rings, including Taylor Swift’s engagement ring. She said, unlike recent celebrity rings, this has a delicate yellow band that is barely visible.
Zimmerman also shared that celebrities have recently been choosing more intricate designs and unique shapes, but this ring takes the opposite approach. She added, “This ring is really taking us back to OG celebrity engagement ring, with a huge rock on that classic band.”
Post Malone and Christy Lee were first linked in 2025. The couple got engaged on August 18, according to the Instagram Story by Christy’s friend.
