Kim Zolciak is defending her 15-year-old son, KJ Biermann, following his arrest on aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery charges in Alpharetta, Georgia. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star addressed the allegations through her representative on Friday. KJ, whose birth name is Kroy Biermann Jr., has denied the accusations against him.

“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling,” Zolciak’s representative told Page Six. “He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged.”
Zolciak also claimed KJ voluntarily completed and passed a polygraph related to the allegations. Her statement cited an examination and said investigators found no DNA belonging to her son.
Police records cited in the report said an April 24 examination found no male DNA in the samples tested from the alleged victim. Zolciak’s representative also raised a separate claim about the classmate accusing KJ.
“We are also aware that this individual has made similar allegations involving two other people, which raises serious concerns that deserve to be carefully examined,” the statement said. The report did not provide additional details supporting the claim.
Authorities arrested KJ on August 19. A female classmate accused him of assaulting her in a gym changing area on April 23. Court documents said she told investigators that she repeatedly refused his advances and later got away from him.
The classmate did not report the alleged incident immediately. According to the report, she contacted her family the following day after leaving school and later underwent an examination at North Fulton Hospital.
KJ remains in custody without bond at the Juvenile Court of Fulton County. His next court appearance is scheduled for September 1. Zolciak urged people not to reach conclusions before authorities complete the legal process.
“Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence. At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation,” her statement said.
Zolciak shares KJ with estranged husband Kroy Biermann. The former couple has been involved in divorce proceedings since 2023.
