Ariana Grande Won’t Let Her Break Get in the Way of ‘Focker-in-Law’

Ariana Grande may be preparing to step away from the spotlight, but she still has some business to finish. The singer and actor reportedly plans to support one major project before her planned hiatus truly begins.

Ariana Grande remains committed to Focker-in-Law promotion

Ariana Grande remains committed to promoting Focker-In-Law despite her upcoming break from public life. A source told People that Grande is “very proud” of the film. Therefore, she still plans to participate in promotional work before stepping back.

The commitment should not come as a surprise. Grande has a major role in the latest Meet the Parents installment. She stars alongside Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Skyler Gisondo and Beanie Feldstein.

Meanwhile, the official Focker-In-Law trailer arrived in April. The comedy will hit theaters Nov. 25. The movie has already generated buzz ahead of its release. Ben Stiller recently reacted to the film’s poster and trailer, while Robert De Niro praised Grande’s performance.

However, the promotional plans do not mean Grande has abandoned her hiatus. Her Eternal Sunshine Tour ended Sept. 1 after 41 shows. She previously said she would take a “step back from visibility” afterward.

In fact, Grande had been considering more balance long before announcing the break. She told Vogue Japan that taking time away would “probably be healthy.” She later described the Eternal Sunshine Tour as a healing experience that changed her relationship with performing.

For now, however, Focker-In-Law remains on Grande’s schedule. Her wider break appears set to begin after she finishes those existing commitments.
