A source told Closer that she “wouldn’t compromise” on their private accommodation or her husband’s lifestyle. While the duke might wish to go back to his old ways, his wife seemed to have set some ground rules.
“Harry must abide by her rules. Firstly, he’s not to leave her for any length of time or go gallivanting for more than a few nights,” they said. According to the insider, the “Spare” author “desperately missed” his adventurous weekends. He reportedly used to enjoy spending time with his friends playing polo, skiing, and shooting. However, Markle allegedly wouldn’t want her husband to go on long trips. “She’s insistent they entertain at their new house.”
Furthermore, the “Suits” alum would reportedly want a high-end house, which is said to be “as good as a royal residence.” “Meghan wants all her home comforts, and Harry has bent over backwards to meet her requirements,” the source added. Her reported demands seemingly include “hand-picked Norland nannies, a full-time housekeeper and four permanent cleaners, a chef, plus groundsmen.”
Aside from house staff, she would allegedly want several amenities and greenhouses. Additionally, the house property should also have an outhouse, which Markle could use as a “filming studio.” Furthermore, a shooting range and a polo pitch on the premises would seemingly keep Harry away from long trips.
