“The Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY)” is all set to welcome its alum Carole Radziwill in Season 16.
Bravo’s new promo puts Radziwill at the center as the Big Apple buzzes around her.
The franchise favorite returns alongside new and familiar faces for new season
In full “Sex and the City” mood, the promo writes a love letter to NY in a poignant yet joyful fashion.
Bravo unveiled the teaser on X with the message: “Welcome back, writer girl. Don’t miss the #RHONY season premiere TUESDAY.” The “writer girl” is a clear nod to Radziwill, who is a journalist and best-selling author. It celebrates her return to RHONY after leaving in Season 10 in 2018.
The promo begins with sweeping views of the city and the idiosyncrasies of typical New Yorkers. New York’s majestic timeline is shown against yellow taxis, Central Park, and brownstone-lined streets.
The cinematic narration goes, “Every love story begins somewhere. This one begins in New York City. Famous for its skyline, its culture, and the people who call it home.” It ends with some more romancing of the unique city and ends strongly with “There are countless cities in the world, but there is only one New York.”
Rather than focusing on feuds and disputes, the teaser highlights the city’s energy and the women’s lifestyles. The cast is seen strolling through stylish avenues and working from plush Manhattan apartments. It features a classic rendition of New York’s essential vivacity, quirks and opportunities.
Radziwill’s return forms the centerpiece. Known for her sharp wit, dry humor, and downtown sensibility, she became one of the defining personalities of RHONY during her original run. The return of a familiar face is a welcome move for the show which has changed considerably since Bravo’s Season 14 reboot.
Season 16 also features returning Housewives Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, and Jessel Taank, alongside newcomers Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye.
