A returning cast member drew a compliment with a jab buried inside it. She recorded her answer outdoors with a fishing rod in hand, and she went straight at the word that carried the sting.

Carole Radziwill and Luann de Lesseps are trading jabs, TMZ reported on Aug. 7. Luann started it with a backhanded compliment about Carole rejoining RHONY.
Returning was a good call, Luann said. Her reasoning supplied the sting, since she suggested nothing else of note had kept Carole “busy.”
Carole responded with a post of her own. Footage shows her fishing, apparently at her large home on the water. Her message: a lifetime of work is exactly what freed her from needing to stay busy now.
That busy insult now anchors a RHONY feud between two original cast members from the Real Housewives of New York.

Luann has other cameras to face these days. She, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley are currently filming The Golden Life for E!, according to TMZ, which broke that story.
Contact with their successors is something the group has actively sidestepped. It was reported in July that these five see the reboot stars as beneath them.
Six women make up that newer cast: Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond and Daisy Toye. Separately, newcomer Devyn Simone rounds out the group, and she counts Carole Radziwill as a friend.
Palm Beach footage impressed E! enough to expand the order. Further episodes will now shoot in the Hamptons and in New York City.
Sources called The Golden Life “light” and “fun.” That description sits some distance from the war of words between these two Real Housewives veterans.
