Tatyana Ali is eyeing a possible ‘Fresh Prince’ reunion as she competes on DWTS
Tatyana Ali recently spoke exclusively to Us on Wednesday, September 2, at the Dancing with the Stars post-cast reveal event, where she appeared to hint at bringing her former co-star Will Smith to the show.
Ali said, “Maybe I can get people to come to the audience. I don’t know. We’ll have to tag team, see what we can do.”
For context, Will Smith and Tatyana Ali share a close, sibling-like bond. The two previously appeared together on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, where both were regular cast members throughout all 147 episodes across six seasons.
In The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Will Smith and Tatyana Ali played cousins, with Smith portraying Will and Ali playing Ashley Banks. The sitcom premiered on September 10, 1990, and concluded on May 20, 1996.
The two stars never appeared together in a scripted TV show or movie after that. However, they reunited several times over the years. Their first reunion came in November 2020 for the HBO Max Fresh Prince Reunion Special. They joined the rest of the surviving cast. In 2025, they reunited to recreate their iconic childhood dance scene to Doechii’s song “Anxiety.”
The 57-year-old actor’s appearance on the reality show has not been confirmed yet. However, Tatyana Ali and Smith have shared a decades-long bond. So, it is possible that the hint could become a reality.
Talking about Dancing with the Stars, Tatyana Ali will join the show hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough on September 15, where she will dance with Jan Ravnik.
