Donald Trump Reveals Why Son Barron Now ‘Respects His Father More’

Donald Trump may have earned the love and admiration of his youngest son for life. The US President arranged a meeting between Barron and Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the most recognizable athletes on the planet. Donald’s son idolizes the Portuguese footballer and Barron was able to live out a dream earlier this week.

On November 18, Cristiano and Barron met face-to-face in an event hosted in honor of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He was visiting Washington D.C. and brought Cristiano along with him. Cristiano currently plays his club football in Saudo Arabia at Al-Nassr.

At a White House dinner with Cristiano present, the President said, “I think he (Barron) respects his father a little bit more now.”

Barron has a good reason to show his face on campus at New York University (NYU), the school that he reportedly attends. He’ll undoubtedly have more people in awe of him than ever before after meeting a footballing legend. “So, I just want to thank you both for being here. Thank you very much, really,” Donald to Cristiano said during the White House dinner.

It’s something Barron desperately wanted, while the all-time record men’s goalscorer was also on board with it. In an interview with Piers Morgan earlier this month the superstar athlete admitted he’d like to meet the President, who he believed could “change the world.”

Cristiano said in his chat with the British journalist that he and the President had something in common. He declined to share what that may be. Barron may get a chance to see the football star again very soon. The 2026 FIFA World Cup takes place next summer in Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Portugal has already qualified for the competition, with Cristiano hoping to take part in his sixth World Cup.
