Fabio Jackson points out wardrobe mistakes in Michael movie trailer
Michael Jackson’s impersonators, Fabio Jackson and Michael Trapson, hosted a joint livestream on TikTok. The duo reacted to the first trailer of the much-awaited MJ biopic. In a clip from the livestream, Fabio praised MJ’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, in the lead role. However, the duo expressed dissatisfaction with other aspects of the film shown in the trailer.
Fabio commenced by saying, “I knew that I was going to nitpick because you want to be a perfectionist with the clothing and your look too. You got to get it right on to the tee — to the material and the sizing, to how baggy it is and how many crystals.”
Continuing further, he said, “So when I saw the trailer, I saw that some of the things could have been done better. I went back to it a day after, and I was like: ‘Man, they messed up on a couple of things. There were no edges showing. The pants were a bit too tight and too much leg warmers. I do hope they remove those things because Michael only wore those things a couple of times.’” Trapson was listening to Fabio attentively, vigorously nodding his head in agreement.
A couple of days back, Fabio shared his wordless reaction to MJ’s biopic’s first trailer. Right before the video started, he shared, “We’ve waited for so long for this; it’s very important.” Fabio watched the almost one-minute, thirty-second-long video quietly, soaking in the memorable bits from the trailer.
He did not say anything about the trailer at the time. Instead, he simply wrote in the caption, “It’s too much to take in.” (via Complex).
Notably, Michael is a biographical musical drama film based on “King of Pop” Michael Jackson’s illustrious life and career. John Logan wrote the film, and Antoine Fuqua directed the film. It will be released in the United States on April 24, 2026.
